Meetings

Tuesday, May 14 at 7:00 pm in the O’Connor Council Chambers –  330 Highway 595. At this meeting we will be planning the upcoming Strawberry Festival and considering other possible events to host.  The Strawberry Festival will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 so please mark your Calendar and come out for some delicious treats. 

We are always looking for new enthusiastic members.  The Club would love to host more social events but need more volunteers and some great new ideas.  Come out on Tuesday night and share your thoughts and help bring community spirit  to our community.  

The purposes and objectives of the Community Club is to raise money to provide services for the Township of O’Connor and its residents. The Community Club supports the township residents with recreation, entertainment for families, funeral luncheons, assistance to residents for out-of-town medical expenses, families who have lost their homes by fire and to those in need of support. All services are supported at the discretion of the Community Club members.
In the past, the Club has hosted Children’s Halloween and Christmas parties, teen dances, social functions such as dances and New Year’s Eve parties for adults and we have continued to host the annual Strawberry Festival and Community Christmas Dinner for the past few years. If you would be interested in bringing some of these old events back or any new ones, please come and join us.  By attending these community functions, residents of O’Connor are supporting a means to keep connected and be involved with the community. We are always looking for new volunteers to bring fresh new ideas to the table.
