Council Meetings
The next meetings of Council will be held
Monday, November 11, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. – Council meeting
Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. – Table Top Exercise – O’Connor Community Centre
Monday, November 25, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. – Council meeting
Monday, December 9, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. – Council meeting
All Council meetings will be held in the O’Connor Council Chambers, unless otherwise noted.
Effective July 1st, 2023
Council meetings will no longer be held virtually, except by special request
Council meetings will be held in Council Chambers in the Township of O’Connor Municipal Office at 330 Highway 595. Virtual participation at the meetings is an option until July 1, 2023 for those that do not wish to attend in person.

Regular meetings of Council shall be held on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 7:00 p.m., except for the months of July, August, and December. During the months of July, August and December, a meeting is held on the second Monday of the month. Where any of the meeting dates fall on a statutory holiday, the meeting will be held on the Tuesday of that week at 7:00 p.m.
During the 2023 Budget deliberations it was agreed by Council to hold only one meeting in December in 2023. It was agreed to hold this meeting on the second Monday of the month.
DEPUTATIONS
Persons wishing to present information verbally on matters of fact or make a request of Council shall give notice to the Clerk not less than forty-eight (48) hours before the commencement of the meeting of the Council and may be heard, but will be limited in speaking to not more than ten (10) minutes except that a delegation consisting of more than five (5) persons shall be limited to two (2) speakers, each limited to speaking not more than ten (10) minutes.
Please note that all participants joining virtually will be muted when entering the meeting and video will be disabled by administration, if necessary.
